A Korean Soap Set by Hanahzo

Hygiene and Heritage. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of the World Heritage Convention, UNESCO Korea collaborated with the Korean soap brand, Hanahzo, to creatively showcase their renowned Korean heritage.
The most remarkable item from this collaboration is the 'Dabotap Lion Statue Soap' which was inspired by the sacred lions that proudly guarded the four directions of the Dabotap Tower - the most iconic stone pagoda in Korea. Sadly, three of these four lions disappeared during the Japanese colonial period, which is why the soap only features these three missing ones. This project received the 2022 Korea Design Award in the product category for its exceptional creative storytelling.  Hanahzo has shown a way to celebrate and commemorate with something as everyday and commonplace as soap.
